Ethan's 1st Birthday

Today is Ethan's first birthday. I vividly remember thinking that this two hour labor was the hardest work I would ever have to do. Running prepared me well for the intesity but only God's grace is enough in those moments. Just thinking back today and enjoying the gift all over again reminded me how precious my teething, drooling, into-everything, up-all-night toddler is to Kurt and me. I don't sleep much these days but I do rest in the security of God's precious grace to us. I hold miracles in my arms when I hold my children....I hold them sometimes until I think my arms will fall off...then I hold them more!
